Chili Ingredients
- 1lb ground beef
- pack of taco seasoning
- small can of crushed tomatoes
- can of black beans
Toppings
- small bag of Takis
- lime
- shredded cheese
- diced white onion
- sour cream
- rice
- cilantro
- diced tomato
- Brown the ground beef
- add taco seasoning
- add canned beans and tomatoes
- let simmer
- serve with rice ball
- top with shredded cheese, onion, tomatoes, lime, cilantro, and crushed Takis and a dollop of sour cream
Ever since I tried that incredible chili at Beach n' Chili Fest, I have wanted to recreate the flavors I tasted.
Now, I appreciate a pot that's been simmering all day, and dedicating a whole day to intricate dishes, but I wanted to try to recreate the chili I tried in the EASIEST possible way, and this simple 4 ingredient chili is really really close.
The toppings are up to you, but the chili I tried had so many Mexican notes with the strong lime and chili flavors jumping out immediately and these toppings help capture that taste.
We've been making this the last couple weeks and it's swiftly becoming one of Kat's favorites, and mine, because it's one of the easier meals I make during the week.
