Winter Wonderland at the Beach: Running from November 29, 2024, to January 4, 2025, this free holiday lights display transforms Myrtle Beach’s Boardwalk into a mile-long oceanfront spectacle from 5 to 9 p.m. nightly. Weekend events at Plyler Park include Santa appearances, caroling, and dance parties. The festival kicks off with the annual tree lighting on November 30, 5:30-7:30 p.m., and features a holiday drone show on December 7​

  2. Nights of a Thousand Candles at Brookgreen Gardens: A cherished Southern holiday event, this awe-inspiring display features 2,700 hand-lit candles and millions of lights.
