Mini Golf and Myrtle Beach!

Mini golf is a popular past time on the Grand Strand and there's no bigger mini golf enthusiast than your pal Retro Myrtle Beach Guy!  Now Retro is here with his TOP favorite mini golf destinations at the beach to help you plan your trip!

Captain Hook's Adventure Golf

This course is incredibly designed and branded donning all your favorite Neverland characters!  Captain Hook and his band of pirates have kidnapped Tigerlily and it is up to Peter and the Lost Boys to rescue her!  This course is a local and tourist favorite for it's theming and course deign!

Ripley's Crazy Golf

New to the boulevard Ripley's Crazy Golf is an all indoor 'cosmic bowling-esque' theming with all black light reactive props and creative holes including pool tables, stargates, and even a zipline!  attached to the Ripley's Museum, Crazy Golf has been a welcome and popular addition to the strip!

Red Dragon Cove

Red Dragon Cove is a new addition to the southside collection of mini golf courses!  With a cantonese theming involving pirate ships, a dragon's lair and waterfalls, this course has been a beautiful addition to the southside!  The tower/ Pro shop features cannons that fire smoke and light so visiting at night is a MUST!

Mt Atlanticus Minotaur Goff

Quite possible the wackiest course on earth, Mt Atlanticus is billed as the 'world's largest Mini Golf course'.  The attached lure tells how Mt Atlanticus broke off of the lost city of Atlantis and washed up on the beaches of Myrtle to where it rests today!  With murals by local artist Ruth Cox, UFO's, striped cows, and sunglasses wearing deities this place just SCREAMS late 20th century retro madness!

Jurassic Golf

One of the southside's most popular mini golf courses Jurassic Golf takes you back to the *checks when most of these dinosaurs actually lived* Mesozoic era to the age of the DINOSAUR!  With a t-rex ready to burst out of his enclosure as well as a diloposaur most famous for blinding 2000s new york's favorite mail man, this course offers wonderful peace and shade on any day!

Cancun Lagoon

Located inside the giant Mayan pyramid by the airport and the Dairy Queen, Cancun Lagoon offers indoor and outdoor courses with wacky designs and oddly historically accurate decor and obstacles.  One hole even features 'The Great Ball Game' played by Mayans to represent the universe and creation and which led to the invention of the RUBBER BALL!  This course is in a serene setting with tons of cover and challenging and fun holes!

Hawiian Rumble

The course that put North Myrtle Beach on the Mini-Golf Map, and home of the Masters of Mini Golf, this course offers waterfalls of kool aid blue water, beautiful topiary cover, and most notably, a giant, rumbling, fire spitting volcano!  Featured in movies and one of the iconic spots on the Grand Strand, Hawaiian Rumble is ONE course any mini golf enthusiast HAS to play at least once!

Jungle Safari/Lagoon

These are by far the OLDEST remaining mini golf courses in Myrtle Beach and both feature beautifully anatomically incorrect animals of an African safari in a mid century illustation fashion which just SCREAMS kitche.  The setting is serene and peaceful and they have both been drawing crowds for decades!  Jungle Lagoon was even featured in the New Town Movie Picures/Speinsted and Ederpt film Retro Myrtle Beach Guy: The Movie!
